Introduction: Jason Hopkins, wife Stacy. Been at Hope for 6+ years, Board Member for 4+ years, co author of Journey to a Fearless Life, Life Group leader for over 5 years.

Prayer is not an art, we don’t have to be a great orators, we do not need know big words or even be very spiritually mature. We don’t have to paint a picture of our lives for God or sculpt out all of our prayer needs. We just need to learn how to pray and pray effectively.

I am excited about this class because the area of my life that needs the most attention is prayer.

7 weeks class
Video series- 3 video sessions of 15 minutes with questions at the end of each section. Andy Stanley talks about prayer.

Keys to Prayer List
1. Write down what you are praying about. Family, church, so on.
2. Don’t write down anything you don’t want others to know.
3. Take your prayer list with you, make it part of your life.
4. Pray scripture. Psalms
5. Don’t worry about finishing your list. Quality vs Quantity
